A short and blurry snapshot of our evening and what an evening it was!

Despite the freezing temperatures everyone was dressed to the nines for the South East regional finals of the Great British Care Awards, held at the Brighton Grand Hotel.

We were happy to be there, and to support our client St Cloud Care who were up for 3 different nominations including Carer of the Year and the Care Innovation award. After a lovely dinner and live entertainment provided by our singing waiters it was on to the awards; 18 of them in total!

There was such a great atmosphere and every table was cheering loudly as their colleagues names were read out as nominees, and there were plenty of happy tears when the winners names were announced. It was actually quite an emotional and moving evening; to see these care workers who work so tirelessly for very little thanks to get the recognition they deserve, so it was lovely to see them celebrating each others successes and sharing stories about the winners.

We hope to be at these awards again in the future and look forward to hearing more inspiring stories. Good luck to all the regional winners in the grand final!

Having a great time at the GB Care Awards!
