by | Dec 17, 2018

Are you aspiring to be a great leader?

If you want to be the best leader in your field then apply to be selected for a free leadership workshop followed by a 5-course dining experience at The Lovat, Loch Ness.

Applications are being taken for chefs to take part in a unique leadership workshop; the first of its kind to include a scientifically proven assessment that measures your own leadership capacity; critical for identifying your own personal strengths and development areas. The event includes a Leadership Development Workshop, 1 nights accommodation bed & breakfast at The Lovat Loch Ness and a 5 course dining experience at award-winning Station Road for the lucky six chosen participants.

Who should apply?

If you’re a chef working within the industry at any level, but currently manage a team, big or small and you are striving to be the best leader you can be then please enter. You must be available on Monday 4th March 2019.

What is the event?

You and five other lucky participants will be hosted by The Lovat, Loch Ness, Scotland and Judgement Index for a Leadership development day like no other. The day will begin with an in-depth analysis of your leadership capacity and values-based behaviours using the scientifically proven Judgement Index assessment. This will lead on to a cutting-edge leadership workshop designed to utilise the genius in you and raise awareness to specific barriers to performance you may have. The day will end with you learning how to develop strategies to take your leadership to the next level and create a high performing culture within your team back home.

But that’s not all – the day will be followed by a 5-course dining experience at the award-winning Station Road restaurant, where Sean Kelly will push the boundaries and your imagination with his truly remarkable men. Check out the Instagram @stationroadlochness to see what a treat will be in store for you.

Spend the night in your own room with views over the spectacular hills and enjoy a delicious breakfast before heading home to unleash your new skills on your team. Or why not enjoy a hike around Loch Ness first?

Please note – Event will begin in the afternoon on Monday 4th March to allow for travel and accommodation will be provided that evening. Anyone wishing to stay the evening before can book via The Lovat website for an additional charge. The event includes refreshments and lunch during the workshop, a 5 course meal, accommodation at The Lovat and transport to and from Inverness, but does not include any alcohol or other travel. As an example, there are flights from London Gatwick to Inverness flying out on Monday morning and returning Tuesday morning for £40 return.

How do I apply?

It’s very simple – just complete the following questions and email your answers to putting “Chef Workshop” in the subject box.

1. So far in your career, what has been your most proud professional moment?
2. What do you consider to be your standout leadership quality?
3. What do you need to develop, personally or professionally, to be an even better leader?

Entries close on the 31st January 2019 and if chosen you will be notified by 4th February.
